23.9 - September

Product Enhancements

• Updated the Viewer and Windows client to better reflect the two layers of Administrative permissions on Windows.

  
  

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue where unexpected behavior occurred when UAC was disabled, but a session was initiated with "Enable Admin permissions," and a non-admin end-user was invited.
• Resolved a problem where the client wouldn't reconnect after startup if both on-demand and MSI were installed.
• Addressed an issue where the agent wasn't receiving feedback in a situation where UAC was disabled, but UAC escalation was attempted.

Product Enhancements

• Improved experience around System versus Admin permissions when remote controlling a Windows device.
• Enabled support for international keyboard layouts on MacOS. 
• Improved performance (framerate, resolution) in rare cases where VPNs/proxies degraded ScreenMeet performance on macOS.
• Updated the Android app to align with the latest Google Play requirements.

• Upgrades have been made to the capture pipeline to improve stream quality.

• Improved compatibility of the Viewer with Firefox.
• Resolved an issue in the Viewer's System Info dialog that displayed an incorrect proxy value.
• Better error handling has been implemented on the Beam server.
• Increased app stability during periods of unreliable network connectivity.
• Addressed an issue where starting a session via the command line interfered with another closing session.
• Various minor bug fixes and enhancements for Windows users.
