AI Summary Studio is a new feature that allows ScreenMeet Administrators to select different options like the LLM, summarization strategy, test prompt outputs and more! This allows you to customize our AI summary to best fit your business needs.

Administrators access this new feature by going to console.screenmeet.com > Organization > AI Summary Studio.

Action Toolbar

Summarizer Library: Displays all summarizer template options. Currently we offer two summarizers - Default and Detailed.

Active: Allows you to set the current summary you are viewing as the active summarizer.

Save - Saves the current changes to the summarizer.

Save as new - Opens a modal where a copy of a summarizer can be created with a new name. If saving as new for an active summarizer, the new summarizer will not be active. Only activating a summarizer can change the ‘active’ state.

Clear changes - Loads the summarizer’s last saved state.

Reset to default - Clears all changes and restores the summarizer back to the templated state.

Create New: Creates a new summarizer that will show up in your Summarizer Library.

Delete: Opens a modal where a summarizer can be permanently deleted. Only non-active summarizers can be deleted. This ensures one summarizer is always active.

Prompt Configuration

LLM: Select from the options or bring your own using an Azure self-hosted model.

  • Not all LLMs will be available for each summarizer. We will display the LLMs that fit the need for each summarizer and their required capabilities.

Summarization Strategy: this determines how we process the session events and prompt the LLMs.

  • Multi-pass generator: Breaks the session into smaller pieces to generate more detailed summaries and then merge them all together. It is recommended for complex use cases where accuracy is critical and there are more events happening in the session.

  • One shot generator: More efficient and faster since we only prompt the LLM once. This is recommended for most use cases.

Base Prompt: The core prompt for the summarizer.

Short Description Prompt: Can be enabled/disabled. Used to provide a short description.

Description Prompt: Can be enabled/disabled. Longer description that can be used to provide additional data.

Timestamp Prompt: Can be enabled/disabled. Determines if each line is prefixed with a timestamp when the event occurred.

Agent Hint Prompt: Can be enabled/disabled. Allows you to show a hint for the agent to generate a better summary.

Prompt Preview

Select Session: Allows you to select a session to preview the prompt that would be generated with current configurations.

  • Retain Raw Data must be enabled. Please reach out to ScreenMeet support to enable this for you.

Prompt Preview: Once a session is selected, the prompt preview will display the prompt data.

Available Options: (must be enabled/disabled by ScreenMeet)

Summary Workflow:

  • Review Generation: Allows the agent to review the summary before saving it.

  • Automatically post as note to CRM: Skips the agent review step and posts directly to your CRM.

  • Automatically post as resolution to CRM: Skips the agent review step and posts directly to your ServiceNow CRM as a resolution.

  • Don’t generate summary: Disables AI Summary

Retain Raw Data: This allows you to select from the 20 most recent sessions to test your prompts and review the summary that will be generated. This is off by default.

Remote Control Event Filter: Determines which actions are recorded and will be included in the summary.

  • Agent and End User

  • Agent Only

Include ScreenMeet Chat: Will include the chat conversation that occurred between the agent and the end user during the session.

Enable Post to CRM: Allows the summary to be posted in your CRM.

Enable Post as Resolution: Allows the summary to be posted as a resolution in your ServiceNow CRM.

Testing your Prompts:

Once all configuration options have been completed, you're ready to test your prompts and generate a summary. Follow these steps to ensure everything is working as expected.

  1. Select a Session: Navigate to the session list and choose an existing session that includes the prompt configuration you want to test.

  2. Review the Prompt Preview: After selecting a session, the Prompt Preview will display a fully compiled version of your prompt—including any variables and dynamic content. Review this carefully to confirm that everything is accurate and complete.

  3. Generate the Summary: Once you're satisfied with the preview, click the Generate Summary button to process the prompt and generate the output.

  4. Review the Output: After the summary is generated, review the results to ensure they meet your expectations. If necessary, return to the prompt configuration to make adjustments and repeat the test.
