Specific roles are required to access Beam in the ScreenMeet Widget.

  • Beam plugin version 1.89.22

  • x_prois_sm.remote_support - provides access to the ScreenMeet widget

  • x_prois_sm.beam_enabled - provides access to create Beam sessions in the widget

ServiceNow administrators will be able to access the Beam button in the widget without requiring the x_prois_sm.beam_enabled role, as the admin role takes precedence over specific role-based access restrictions.

  • Click the green Beam button

  • A screen with a list of devices will appear in the widget

  • You can search by device name or group name

    • Green device names means the device is online and available for you to connect

    • Grey device names means the device is offline and not available to connect to

  • Click the green device name you want to connect to

  • Click Create Session
