Salesforce Integration: Overview and Requirements

Prev Next

Overview

The ScreenMeet platform integrates remote support, video and audio calling, CoBrowse, and Replay directly into Salesforce on the object of your choice. Agents launch and run sessions from within the Salesforce record they are already working in, and session data is written back to Salesforce for reporting.

Requirements

Review the following requirements before installing ScreenMeet 2.0 or newer.

  1. Lightning Experience: ScreenMeet 2.0 is designed only for Salesforce customers who have transitioned to the Lightning Experience. If you are not on Lightning Experience, install an older version of the ScreenMeet package. Contact ScreenMeet Support for the correct package.

  2. Service account: In addition to your regular user accounts, dedicate one user account to act as a service account. This account enables communication between ScreenMeet and your Salesforce org.

  3. System Administrator access: You need a System Administrator account on your org to perform the installation.

Package Support and Updates

ScreenMeet actively supports versions of the Salesforce package released within the last two years.

Upgrade Cadence

For the best performance, security, and access to the latest features and bug fixes, upgrade your ScreenMeet Salesforce package every 4 to 6 months. See Upgrading ScreenMeet for Salesforce.
