This article explains how the Beam Prompt Policy is supported through ServiceNow. All Beam sessions will follow the Prompt Policy configured in the Beam Group settings.
The Prompt Policy can be selected or updated for a Beam Group from either console.screenmeet.com or Beam Groups in ServiceNow.
Configure the Prompt Policy in ServiceNow
Go to
Beam Groupsand select the Beam Group you want to edit or create a new Beam GroupClick
Edit Beam GroupSelect the desired
Session Prompt Policyfor the groupDefault: All Beam Groups will be set to this until changed by you. No Prompt will appear for an end user.
Auto-Detect: We will detect if an end user is present, if so it will prompt the end user to allow the agent access to their device. If no end user is detected, it will connect the agent to the device as an unattended session.
Always Prompt: An end user prompt will appear and has to be accepted by the end user before the agent can connect.
Never Prompt: No prompt will appear for end user, will connect as an unattended session.

Login as a ScreenMeet Administrator to console.screenmeet.com

Beam GroupsEdit or Create a new Beam Group
Select the desired
Session Prompt Policyfor the groupDefault: All Beam Groups will be set to this until changed by you. No Prompt will appear for an end user.
