Managing File Transfers

Introduction

This article describes configuration options for controlling file transfer behavior within ScreenMeet sessions. These settings apply only when file transfer is enabled at the session policy level.

File Transfer Controls

• File Extension Blacklist: Specify restricted file types (e.g., .exe, .zip) to prevent them from being transferred between users and agents.

• Retain Transferred Files

  File retention settings do not apply to CoBrowse sessions.

• Scan Transferred Files with Antivirus Scanner: When enabled, all transferred files are automatically scanned for malware.

• Maximum Transfer Size Limit

  The total amount of data transferred during any session cannot exceed 2 GB. This limit applies cumulatively across all files, whether a single large file or multiple smaller files.

Click Save to apply changes. Use Reset to Defaults to revert all settings.
